A very good concept on which this piece is based....the truth has been spelt out....people are concerned primarily with their own interests, benefits, welfare, etc., regardless of others.....so let me quote what we need to do as let us understand what our own selfish genes are up to, because we may then at least have the chance to upset their designs. In the second attempt I am reading this poem once more and understands the social concern given in the poem by the good poet having such a nice observation of the society fast moving where human security is neglected and no one is dared to assist a person in such a difficult situation. It is wonderful poem and societal concern is a subject taken by the poet in beauty of the words she created.

We are all obsessed with our own selves.....! We seek shelter in a glass chamber, when the world around us sobs and grieves! Others' problems are never our concern. Man should undergo a radical change in his lopsided attitude to life and learn to see those around us as our own brethren! A great message!

The poetess pinpoints the limitation of the individual in the society which have so much problems and evading habits of individuals in such circumstances which is the route cause of evils that are not questioned. It is a beautiful poem.

Love for being self-centric and futility of such an attitude have been brought out in an artistically subtle manner. Thanks
