A Letter From The Hell Comments

Rating: 3.8

I don't know where the paradise is as I live in a Hell,
But a little I have heard and a little I can tell,
Unaware of the fairies white, yellow, black or brown,
Do they wear an opaque or a semi-transparent gown,

Fantastic poem. It provides, though in a symbolic way, a panoramic view of the world afflicted by wickedness of one kind or the other. Another disturbing factor is the hypocrisy of political leadership around the world. To conclude, I quote Mirza Ghalib: Hum ko maloom hai jannat ki haqiqat lekin / Dil ke khush rakhne ko ghalib ye khayal achha hai

Another wonderful offering from a great Thinker. A marvelous imaginative poem worth to ponder about. The closure line led us to believe that thought that the world is like with all the war going on among mankind and nations. A powerful and perceptive write imbued with humor. Congratulations, Sir Akhtar for a well deserved accolade.

Congratulations on POD. The sentiment in the poem is definitely sad. Your may one day be paradise. We can all hope, but the message in this verse is definitely strong. : -)

We make of this earth either a heaven or a. I think that the fairies prefer heaven. And the devils prefer. And you, Akhtar are certainly no devil! Congrats on POD!

Dear Akhtar Sahab, Heartiest congratulations for the poem of the day. Really happy to see it on this honourable page. But i would rather you receive a letter from Heaven rather than. You deserve fairies of all colours visiting you with their golden magical wings. They should speak the language of universal love, irrespective of where they come from or belong. They should see your pure soul and bless you with good luck.
