Poets can speculate Scientists can formulate Theists can evaluate. Only through an amalgam Of these three philosophies Can mankind achieve 'A knowledge of the Truth'. ! ! ! ! ! ! ! You presented 'A Knowledge of Truth' thats clearly is a truth of man's understanding-based on one's particular belief, culture, and government et al.. [beliefs and spirituality are measured subjectively]. With every society's good or bad intention that explains our existence and our relation to the universe, why can we not just take care of this very living earth, [ we know the earth lives]. So let us enjoy the wonders of the universe, love and care for all organisms, then we all will live in peace. -I believe. Imperialism is a great determiner of truth and defines it based on the schools of thought your poem mentioned. Any way this poem's 'truth' just may be debated years to come. Thanks for the lucid view of how everything works together; microcosm, macrocosm, and of course, it would all fall apart but for the poets necessary input into the scheme of things..(smile)
