.....Oh, how I wish you had kept it at home instead of leaving it to its fate! Kittens are so lovely! Each time I see a stray kitten, I long to give it a shelter.... If ever I attempt to do it, there would be a row in the house from my husband who is not a cat lover......! So I just suppress my sympathies! This is a cute poem.......! Really love the expression' pain's plaintive mews'! A 10
