A Kiss We Can't Miss Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

A Kiss We Can't Miss

The bus pulls up a rumble and a hiss,
Excitement buzzes, chatter fills the air,
A day of learning something we can't miss.

With backpacks packed and permission slips like this,
We find our seats, a happy eager pair,
The bus pulls up a rumble and a hiss.

The world outside, a blur of leafy bliss,
As fields and farms and towns begin to share
A day of learning something we can't miss.

Our teacher guides with stories and a kiss
Of knowledge new, dispelling every care,
The bus pulls up a rumble and a hiss.

New sights unfold, a day we'll reminisce,
Into our memories, treasures beyond compare,
A day of learning something we can't miss.

The journey back, a quiet happiness,
Of shared adventures, burdens light as prayer,
The bus pulls up a rumble and a hiss,
A day of learning something we can't miss.
