i see the philosophical truth in the poem and yet it hurts.truth is always bitter..............yes it is.thanks m'am
A profound read Indira. I was just reading the book by Swami Vivekananda about the Karma Yoga and remembered me the allegories with birds there - the family birds who fell in the fire in order to serve and feed their human guests. Allegoric and profound read indeed - yours as well.
Karma Yogi.... well choosen title. Wish they were strong enough to reach far beyond our reach.
If a Karma Yogi or Bhakti Yogi is lead to Gyaan Yoga by his purity, he does not have to end up on the supper table! He becomes Stithtyapragyaani. Its nice to read stimulating poetry!
indira, is the metaphor....ignorance is bliss or they also serve who stand n stare...? ? ?
It is a beautiful poem.
