I remember the school day rhymes which sounds rain rain go away, Come again another day But in today's world specially in India during this season we are deadly waiting for rain to at least receive its sprinkles on the withered or parched lands. Though this wish is for July: I really plead for a rain in this hot summer Sir!

Beautiful flow of words...The sun dressed up like a baby demon! Very true said, this time rainfall is just half of last year. Which is going to affect us badly if the same situation continues. Beautiful way you have presented.

Bone dry, scorched earth, relentless sun beating down with rays of fire, eating days, that bring such a thirst for the feel of rain to replenish and cleanse the earth as well as our mind and soul! Inspired write!

When the thunder threaten the skies And the lightning draws lines of fire We begin to wait for the accompanying clouds But only see a strong wind Slaughtering those toddler clouds It is a pain that has a thousand buds. Beautiful poem expressing the yearnings and the frustrations of a scorched Earth and parched lips! I am reminded of the sound of thunder in Eliot's Waste Land... Let us hope that the arid lands will soon be drenched in heavenly showers.. Enjoyed. I give you top marks!

It is a sad thing that irrespective of the monsoon time is fast going on no rains are coming and this poem expresses the concerns well and is good.
