A Journey Through The Seasons Poem by DM W

A Journey Through The Seasons

Rating: 5.0

In summertime, I imbibe Nature's flowered wine
As I slowly drift in its languid, dream filled days.
In autumn, I'm aware of my mortal design:
In tainted golds and rusty reds and in the haze
Of bonfire smoke. And I begin to feel afraid.
In winter, I'm wary of frozen warning signs.
So I wait for potent spring's vibrant light and shade.
That's when I sense magical sparks of the divine
Flowing through everything in verdant Creation:
In violet, rose pink and snow white celebrations!

Four seasons in one day so the old adage goes, or in this case a poem. A poem so well written and so well poetry tuned. And a poem ending on and singing the laurels of spring. My favourite season. Five more than worthy stars so richly deserved and bestowed. You are once again Dominic nature's truest observer and its championed honest broker. Many thanks and remain poetry blessed. Take care.
