A Journey in a Land Among the Living Dead..


Ironic! A land where the dead live
And the living are dead
Not having much to give
Living in darkness for the light had fled

The disputes spread along the land
Like a plague taking over as if planned
The road to peace is only a brand
For fear takes over the land

All we see is corruption
A common trait
Exploding as an eruption
For all the living had skipped their fate

Written on your faces a story of hypocrisy
Of Setting up the standards for insincerity
Of Thoughts that flow only of falsity
Of Acting up with acts of duplicity

Far away from you we sit and watch
As if we hope for reform
What values are you trying to catch
Stepped away you become, for you're not ready to perform
