A Jolly Christmas Poem by Jayne Louise Davies

A Jolly Christmas

Rating: 5.0

Christmas gifts around the tree,
Twinkling lights that sparkle bright,
Fairy sits so perfectly,
Her angel face looks down tonight.
Thinking back to christmas past,
Peeping from my cosy bed,
Waiting for Santa's sleigh to arrive,
Excited thoughts run through my head.
Singing christmas carols then.
Longing for the morning light,
I'd love to do it all again,
Remembering the love tonight.
Christmas brings such joy to to all,
It's not the same when loved ones pass,
Those days back then we had a ball,
I only wish that life could last.
