As if every language became language of the heart, as if every heart spoke only truth to other hearts, as if truth bonded heart to heart in everlasting amity. As if we were persuaded this world is a Paradise-Garden - Because we made it so, by turning AS IF into IT IS. - - - - It is such a beautiful poem which affirms our ability to make the world more beautiful..

Do you have the custom of making a resolution for the New Year? People don't take these resolutions seriously, it's just a game. But this poem is a series of positive events and attitudes. We're half way through the new year. I don't know if any have come true, but it's nice to dream of things getting better.

The title of the poem attracted me while browsing through your poems.I am revisiting this poem. When you wrote this poem, you were halfway through 2016.Now this year is nearing to end and 2017 will come after two months. As you said, it is really nice to dream of things getting better.Your poem fills me with lovely feelings as if many dreams have become reality.
