A Hug Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

A Hug

‘Oh my God! What is this'!
His Mrs. exclaims with utter frustration.

‘You're Anita…
Suvro is the only male child
of our Sanyal clan.
I'm his far-related aunt-
his grand's brothers…
I stay abroad-
can't attend your marriage'.

‘Thank God'.

They meet after a decade
in Ooty Hill Station accidentally.
All three are crying.
