A Hedgehog Poem by Sylvia Frances Chan

A Hedgehog

Rating: 5.0

Guess, what have I seen this morn?
At that moment I felt so forlorn
a hedgehog? !
really?
not a cockroach or a frog?
Yes, really a hedgehog
and so big
as your smallest dog!

he looks quickly to the left and then to the right
he knows everything is alright
he crossed the path in my garden
then disappeared in the garden of the garden

just before Luna's nose
the hedgehog took a pose
and he swiftly disappeared amongst the bellarose

While Luna was sleeping in my garden, a hedgehog appeared in front of her nose, but Luna did not notice anything, she slept under the bench, the hedgehog crossed the garden to the bellarose section, the hedgehog did oftentimes crossing my garden, but not when Luna was there sleeping, I was accidentally up there

Such a beautiful episode. To see a hedgehog in the garden when Luna sleeps peacefully in your garden.

The compelling images and the way the poem was expressed made me at close range with this Hedgehog. And my favorite Luna, missed the scene. I wonder what will happen if Luna was wide awake. Interesting!

A walk in the garden in the early hours of dawn is the time for little animals to move around freely..
