A Heart Born For The Fool's Paradise Comments

Rating: 5.0

Oh, such a lovely heart to be set amid a world that is progressively growing colder and crueler. This is the kind of heart we should be fostering, nurturing, welcoming but its beautiful vulnerability is instead a target of the loveless, the cruel, and the destroyers among us. Well written- I know this because it affected me so deeply. 10

My gratitude, Susan, for being sympathetic with the not-so-pleasant sentiments of a social complainer...It was written nine years ago when i felt rather depressed with my career :) The attempt to write poems proved to be a good treatment and now I feel more happy than in the past. Sad emotions should become a thing of the past~ Feeling a bit sorry to have shared something negative...Nika is right: we're all better off focusing on the positive

Well imaginative and touching. Beautifully presented the feelings and nature of heart. The last two lines I want to quote........ Better to hide it in a fool's paradise and it cherish Than to have it repeatedly hurt, break, and perish. Thank u for sharing this beautiful poem.

Thank you very much for your time and appreciation, Headmaster.I seem to be more sophisticated now than nine years ago when I wrote the poem. Enjoy life as it is.

A beautiful sonnet that captures the nature of the heart which can be easily fooled because of its naivety and simplicity. Unlike the mind which is clever.10
