Many times, I've had new thoughts, And jumped out of my cosy bed, To quickly grab a pen and paper, And jot them down before they leave my head. Is this a common problem, Which all writers share? Yes it happens with me too. A beautiful poem. Thanks for sharing

The thing is that the poet has ample ideas for making and writing new poems and her mind is always having exciting experience of events and themes in writing poem the real description through the poem is wonderful and interesting.

I think of things to write when I am in bed but by the time I get downstairs I've forgotten them. Have you read my sonnet On Sleep, it runs along the same theme. NIce one Angela

I used to get up in the early hours to write. I am sluggish now like my writing.

Aye, I have a similar problem but I will differentiate for my pirate lot when I hear that majestic hymn reaching for my quill I am flung out of my swinging cot! Loved the poem! Read 'Pirate's Block' if you want a giggle.

Definitely a writer's problem I would say - I keep a pen and notebook by my bed so at least I don't have to get up. Very well written and rhymed, worth your loss of sleep! !
