Flowers surround the path on the climb. The view reflects a sense of unaltered time. The ocean has a soothing rhythm that saves. Stress dissolves and is caught up in the waves. ... Imagine a sanctuary free of industrious societies. There is something to be said for letting things be. When a leisurely walk is the objective for the day. A place where sacred beauty outshines any abbey, A place where you can touch God’s face and pray. I came across this poem of yours from a while back, and couldn't resist commenting - though my comments couldn't do it justice. I think the poem itself says it all. All beautiful and touching. 10+

'a sense of unaltered time' says a lot to me too. With the latest happenings in California I am inclined to think that we are going to have to create our own haven or find a better way of 'letting things be'.

I always feel closest to God in nature......Some of my best memories in youth was the Church camp I would go to each summer.....deep in the woods...to this day I would rather be camping in the woods then a stiff hotel.....I've been to those cliffs in my youth....you captures it well...thanks for the flashback: O)
