A Haven Poem by james watkin

A Haven

Gusty troubles, shook out
Life's daily weather
Thoughts, each now as a ruffled
Feather on feather

The softest acceptance
To be nested in
This heart, a woman's! Echoes
At love's blossom hour
New-formed, new world does savour
To what flap as sing.
