A Happy Bounce Had Lost His Bounce Poem by Clive Culverhouse

A Happy Bounce Had Lost His Bounce

a happy bounce had lost his bounce
it wasn't much, just weighed an ounce

but for this bounce, his bounce was all
as he'd bounce

and bounce

around the house

but now, oh no his bounce had gone
and without his bounce, it wasn't fun

the poor old bounce just stayed inside
but although now still, he never cried

he thought of days he had his bounce
and all the good times he could count

so out he went, how brave was he
and starting small became bouncy

it wasn't much, just weighed an ounce
the happy bounce had found his bounce
