You make some good points in your poem. The old adage - the pen is mightier than the sword is true especially in poetry. Although I'm a gun owner, learned how to shoot as a girl scout and was taught all the safety rules. Love target practice and have never shot anyone. Taught my sons how to shoot also. Guns don't kill people - people kill people. A gun can't shoot anyone unless a person pulls the trigger. Am an advocate for gun rights and stand behind the NRA completely. Have control over my weapons, and sons never took any of them unless we were with them. Because they were taught how to shoot and be safe they were never curious about them and never showed them off to anyone. It's all about education, ethics and morals. hi, this really a good poem, i don't think you write in bahasa and translate all in english, it won't hv good rhyme. i like this poem, the lines are beautiful with deep meaning. Firstly well done in writing in your own Language and then into English which is no easy feat, as our language is not the easiest to do! Obviously you slip up here and there but the meaning behind the poem is clear enough. A gun in the wrong hands can cause violence and destruction, as we see and hear about daily around the world.Once again well done and keep on writing.

In stead of wielding the pen, the children now use the gun. The future of these children will be a fun. The U.N.O will open its eyes when the head of a nation is shot down. When the heads of the poor fall on earth, it will be engaged in the search of the truth. This gun-culture will be spreading soon to other parts of the world. Yes, a pen as a gun, indeed only one word could touch millions at a time. All conflicts should be solved with the power of words. One day humanity will get rid of all of those ugly things, could bring nothing but pain, one day we shall become aware.

Wonderful write. We must create awareness with whatever means we have about the abuse of gun laws and problems created by these laws.

The issues of guns in the US is complex and intransigent as so many vested interests like it just that way. Good write on a complex issue with the same frustration of so many victims and their families.

There is a saying in bible that one who uses sword to kill, will get end his life by a sword. so is the case of guns. More than the first few stanzas the last ones are better in rhythm and rhyme. Please read poems of Robert Frost more. It will help to come up.

The Tuscon shooting, the Columbus killings, The Colorado theater, Sandy Hook, inner city violence all of this is caused because of an outdated constitutional amendment that's the legal equivalent wisdom teeth a feature not needed. Im not American so I cannot understand the obsession with owning a firearms, all I see is the trail of violence that's led from it. If you measure freedom with owning a gun, your only free to pick your grave. Good write
