A green leaf
Says many things
Known and unknown to us,
Though it has no voice outwardly,
Still its inner voice
Reveals the precious truth,
The greenness and vitality
Of the leaf gives us
A significant message,
The beauty and utility
Of a green leaf is unique and excellent,
It soothes our soul
And satisfies our eyes
Ages after ages,
Indeed it's absolutely immaculate,
The problem is that
We have no intention
To think about the purity
And sanctity of this absolute gem
In this filthy place.
