With wings of gold, I touch the light, What a joy to feel so high Yet, gliding above, My darkest fears, I still hear the others cry It is only when, I feel their pain, I shed my wings of gold Somehow I find a greater peace, Standing with them in the cold - - -This piece of poetry emanates from a kind and beautiful heart.
