A Great Life Poem by Hebert Logerie

A Great Life

I have a great life
Now, I have a great wife
I have had bad and great experiences
That's the reality of living
Complaining will change nothing
It is okay to pay the consequences
I am happy to be who I am
I love yellow yam, I love white yam
I love all kinds of people
My favorite color is not purple
I am very blessed, and you too
Stop fooling yourself, be true
To yourself. Like me, you are flawed
Just look in the mirror. Do not applaud
I am not perfect
And you are imperfect
You and I are happy to be alive
Let's be brief and give each other a high five.
