A beautiful image of sober wisdom mellowed through years! A granny with withering body, but unassailable spirit! She stands as a towering bunyan tree. Though now with branches drying up and leaves blown by the autumn winds, how many must have found shade under her foliage and how many winged folks must have nested among her branches! A beautiful poem! !
