Night is now falling;
This day is swiftly ending.
The door is open wide;
Snow is falling outside.

You must now depart;
with blessings in your heart.
We will send with you;
Our love forever true.

With our prayers go;
And let you always know
We bid you safest haste;
That you might find your way.

Let the angels guard you;
Spread their wings round you.
May you never come to harm;
Until you find a somewhere warm.

Go now into the snows;
But be warm in our love so close.
We know not when;
But we hope to see you again.

Find peace dear friends;
And remember our love ere the end.
May you go in good cheer;
Remember we are waiting here.
