A Golden Sphere Comments

Rating: 4.7

A golden sphere is lifting up so slowly in the east,

A whole range of hues are seen, within this fiery glow, Changing as the hours pass by, it then starts sinking low, And if seen in splendid glory, is a wonderful imposing sight, Out to the west, where it disappears into our moonlit night what a lovey stanza of your rich poem is this one.. the poem is really written with a professional way and the idea is thoughtful.. deep and meaningful enough..well done dear poetess friend.. like your poetry..

There is nothing like watching a sunrise or for that matter, a sunset! ... I noticed a typo in the last line. I believe 'is' should be 'it'? ... dan

Sunrise, sunset - how quickly the days are gone. Sad, yet hopeful that that old sun will continue his journey.

Very vivid Ernestine. I particularly like the flow of the rhyme in the first two lines of the second verse. For some reason I found them most relaxing. You're onto something here. Mood poetry!
