A Gold Particle Buried Beneath Mass Sand Poem by Tulsi Shrestha

A Gold Particle Buried Beneath Mass Sand

A Gold Particle Buried Beneath Mass Sand
Feels suffocated to breathe and regain sense
Quantity gained victory over quality again & again
Enforced, chased to make it run away.
Display of greatness, hypocritical expression
Showered the world of words.
I don't expect a particle of gold
Can manage itself to sustain.
Its identity and entity
Both, now, are threatened.
Gem feels comfortable to hide itself
Inside the sheath of hard stone.
Until and until wheel of time
Endures to expose reality hidden.
