Duel existence in a single person, apparently seems funny but actually very true.Actually, in every human being - there lives a child all through the life. And that's why our mind always remains in a confusion........ a nice penning

Shahzia, I'm really amazed 2 c the similarity in thoughts! ! I always say, sb ko lgta hai men barhi ho gae hun mgr mery andar ki 'choti bachi' hr wqt mery sath sath hoti hai n usually people r ignorant of my naughty childlike side. These clicked me the most... my heart is made of rebel stuff it does not follow laws mercurial creature knows no rest always in some search and quest

a child always plays in the heart of every person. it is due to our childish heart we are able to achieve some great in our life. only a child can imagine to pluck the moon. i hope u must have read my poem HEART AND MIND. About your writing skill nothing to say. a child is always a grt poet n vice versa. Thnx for sharing

a fine of blend of Blake and Wordsworth.... but Dear Shazia jus suppose for a moment that girl of nine is standing in front of you... observe her now portrait her but never indulge your feelings and sentiments... i wish u could read my Born to Die... i juss wanna reinforce that Form by ur poetic Skill

Awesome write and it is true that a child in us never dies despite of age..... I know how it be to get our ideas, thought s, dreams, goals suppressed in the name of discipline!

..a child resides in everyone of us..even though we grow up that child stays within us..i totally agree with you Shahzia..but it needs talent to bring that child out on paper...and there is no doubt you got dollops of that..

It all reminds me of Maggie, a compassionate and contradictory character. You have mastery traced the rebellious 'self'. Simple and outpouring!

If a heart made of REBEL STUFF consists of such CUTE ideas then everyone must have a heart made of rebel stuff that does not follow rules :)))))) we all have our versions which we manage to hide from the rest of the world. The description of this NINE YEAR OLD GIRLIE is just PERFECT! ! ! You didnt miss a single detail and the end is LOVELY! ! ! unlike me she likes to play I am sober, tender, mild she is naughty, wittily-styled I'm mature, she is wild I've grown up but she is child! beautiful contrast here and brilliantly done! ! ! loved this Cute poem :)))

Beautiful flow, sprightly and skippy like a little girl, Sunday best donned, basket in hand, off to village fair... A closely held secret brought to fore with much coaxing and soul searching.... :) easy on the tongue, great poetry artful skillful and captivating. The simplicity is completely captivating and engrossing. It has a chirpy and bubbly quality that goes so well with the theme and describes vividly the internal goings on in the inner self. Liked a lot blessings
