When God gives you something, don't kick it away,
A gift from above, in a world of disarray.
He gave you something special, a treasure so rare,
A blessing that shines, beyond compare.

He showed you it's from Him, a token of love,
A sign of His favor, sent from above.
Despite the troubles, He saw you through,
And gave you strength, to make it anew.

But did you recognize, the gift He gave?
Did you see the blessing, in the trouble you faced?
You were given a chance, to grow and to thrive,
But instead of embracing it, you let it survive.

You had it in your hands, a precious gift so fine,
But you let doubts and fears, cloud your mind.
You had the opportunity, to make it work out right,
But you let it slip away, into the dark of night.

And now you look back, and you realize too late,
The gift God gave you, was truly great.
But you destroyed it, with your doubts and fears,
And now it's gone, and all you have are tears.
