A Garden In Spring Poem by Rob Dyer

A Garden In Spring

Rating: 4.5

A hillside garden in the evening gloom,
the wild white hawthorn in flower -
the man in the picture prays,

“Be my crown in the rattling hour,
let my life in the tomb
arise,
as the wild white thorn bud bursts into bloom.”
