Funeral sorrow draped in the sorrow of loss, no more love for a shadow even to follow. Melancholy, but an apt description of death at a funeral. Everyone is numb, yet tears will flow. Great poem, thank you for sharing. RoseAnn

Beautiful poem with indpeth meaning. Very true said in few lines. Early darkness; as oil we drip on tarmac, a gathering in black fallen from the sky. With lemon faces we shadow the next. We are the next and will be carried to funeral. Loved reading it. Thanks for sharing with us.
