Seeds and tender infant plants Grew under its cool and bounteous shades... Now tender plants will grow in pain Face to face with sunlight and rain... It's sad reality of life...My dad was A Fruit-Laden Tree 4 me...May the Almighty give me strength n courage 2 b the same tree 4 others...

The poem was getting ever so happy, then suddenly there is that dark angel Oh why? But the entire piece portrays life However good, or great we are, the end will come sometimes. Well done. Just brilliant Mohabeer Beeharry

Great tribute to you dearest uncle. The eldest head is like a, as Ramesh Rai Ji has rightly said, like a banyan. tree. which provides shade, protection and allows smaller plants to grow under its wings. Great write. May God rest his soul in peace.

Thank you Wahab bhai for the comment, in the quoted lines, READ (pronounced-RED) as in past tense, it is in consistency with the verbs used in the past tense.

''It read of many a coup de tat Seeds and tender infant plants Grew under its cool and bounteous shades'' look again in these sentenses there is a gramar issue and you use the word ''shades '' twice which mars the quality of the poem of your standard, a poetess with great potenciality, thank you for sharing this beautiful poem.

Beautiful analogy Shahzia! Elders in the family are like strong rooted trees adn we enjoy under their shade. Without them its indeed tough same like tender plants who now have to face the harsh sun adn we the new gen has to face life and its challenges

Each of our elders define a tree. We grow comfortably in the shade nurtured by the fruits. When the tree is gone we get exposed to the heat of the sun. Nice poem to share all your feelings with others. May his soul rest in peace.
