I love the way you lead your reader down the path to the wrong conclusion. I was following merrily along, when snap! The story takes an amusing turn and the reader is left a smile and the Ah Ha moment. good luck with the smoking its been 27 year for me!
11 years last January for me Elizabeth. I find that poems and jokes share a similar format at times. The charming deception of the build up, then the all important punchline.
