A Friend In All Seasons Poem by Claire Ann Sansolis

A Friend In All Seasons

A friend since my single years,
And one through my journey as a wife—
Both of you held me close,
Anchors in the storms of life.

When the world chose judgment,
And things began to fall apart,
We stood as reminders to each other
That true friendship guards the heart.

To my two, not just for a season,
Not just in fair weather or bright days—
Thank you for stepping out of your way,
To lift me up, to kneel and pray.

When I needed comfort,
You offered more than just your ear—
You spoke with wisdom, led with love,
And always drew me near.
A friend loves at all times—
And that is what you both are.
Steady and true, near or far,
You shine like constant stars.
My sisters in Christ, handpicked from above,

You show me the meaning of unwavering love.
I thank God for Poupe and Mich, it's true—
I love you both. I truly do.
