A Friend Poem by Micron Jan

A Friend

Rating: 4.9

A friend I hope will always stay,
A guiding light through night and day.
A hand to hold when shadows near,
A voice that whispers, "I am here."

A friend who sees me, heart and soul,
Who lifts me gently, makes me whole.
Through storms that rage and skies that frown,
Your laughter turns my world around.

A friend who loves without disguise,
Who stops me when my spirit flies.
A heart so rare, so kind, so true,
A melody in all I do.

Forever cherished, tried, and true,
A friend like you, there's only you

To my friend - Lauretta
