A Fool's Reflection Poem by Ellen Rose Guilaran

A Fool's Reflection

I never knew the weight of the words until today
I never knew that my strongest suit would be
an obstacle that would be a feat if won
All the stupidity wasted the true potential I could've become
Good in words, no matter what I become
It's time I take advantage of what fate ladies has given
This fool must do what it takes to become grown
Underdeveloped and weak is not the parent's fault
It is hard to be responsible when you can't be accountable
