A Fool's Death Poem by Kingsley Egbukole

A Fool's Death

Born with special olfactory sense
And sharp sense of sight
That missed no pleasant scent
And no colour bright
He wakes like the butterfly at dawn
And pursues the nectar till dusk
Signed a fool from birth

The goat strays frequently
To eat the farmer's yam
Eat and eat it does like a glutton
And shoo!
It will not hear
Until struck from behind

Kisses, his drug
Nipples, his drink
At the base of a she-laps
He crushed his scrotum
In the paradise of sex

The stubborn housefly
Antagonist to advice
Propelled by lust
Got buried with the corpse

' Kisses his drugs Nipples, his drink...signed a fool from birth. The way you play with words, the mastery, the dexterity is intriguing. Keep feeding us from your beautiful mind, Kings.
