true love feels not a farewell wherever it moves but a sensible love has afraid of lost! nice to read the romantic poem though it's within dialect form

Thine be like a joy and treasure, Peace. enjoyment, love, and pleasure! most interesting to acknowledge that one action carries all the above elements with it.

But to see her was to love her; Love but her, and love forever. Had we never lov'd say kindly, Had we never lov'd say blindly, Never met- or never parted- We had ne'er been broken-hearted. Fare thee well, thou first and fairest! wow great great 10++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Don’t ask but a random lyric of Van Morrison brought me here. Benights me. Just beautiful.

The title of the song in Auld Scots is Ae Fond Kiss...it has been wrongly translated here as A Fond Kiss when it should be One Fond Kiss... He is asking for one last kiss before parting.
