An abandoned spiderweb
Survived the onslaught of
Winter ice and snow.
The spring came and filled
The spider web with tiny flowers
Shredded from the bush above.
A tiny insect now enjoys
The comfort of a soft white bed!
A tantalizing feast for eyes!
Beautiful....! I have watched this sight and wondered if the shining droplets are gems studded on a gossamer fabric!
Beautiful little poem, very meticulous observation so elegantly crafted dear madam
What a delightful observation. Special hidden places in nature are so precious and your poem is too.
Thank you Beach Girl for reading the poem. So good to hear from you.
Beautiful observation. The poem feels like three connected haikus.
