Who among us has not had such feelings - if only I had known - if only I had visited more often - if only.... Your poem speaks for all of us. But I don't want to dwell on the IF ONLY theme. The time we DID spend with all of THEM in our many lives, was time well-spent and fulfilled the bond we have with aged relatives. The fact that you wrote this poem and I relate to it speaks eloquently of family ties.
