very wonderful thoughts....a soul-searching piece we all flicker.... but still we don't give up..we continue to light the way....continue to live... we maybe unsteady sometimes but....we still able to stand still... really a great piece you have shared with us Sam.... for us to reflect on life and on our being.... thanks for sharing....i love this... lovelots, maia
Samanyan, my flicker would be a freedom song, freedom to soar, to fly to distant lands, but then I am sure it bring me back to deal with the everyday problems of living. Facing life head on is the only way. Lovely poem. Bob 10+
Live life, on a 'each day' basis Never know, when the water drifts under the foot Enormous truth, enlarged life Past never repeats, present can't be snatched Future can't be lived. The Flicker... to search... Before that... each day should have held something to search. This poem, read with caution, can be a beacon to youngsters.
