A time to stop and think Have we lost all - Or Can we salvage still Not all is lost So long you are ther To inspire and impress Us to seek for our roots And try to lead simple lives. A very wonderful and thought provoking poem. Leading us to question where have we placed our values and what are our aims in this mortal life? Angel

We are somewhere in between. Lingering between humane thoughts our heritage taught and the West-machine, tempting us to trot........

'Simple living and high thinking'- we have forgotten this aspect and so we suffer. We misinterpret the concepts - Innocence and Contentment. Contentment to most of us is an interpretation of further non-ambitious level and innocence is coined as a state of weakness. The world hammers these ideas on generations. How can we then expect a good culture out of these misinterpretations? Innocence is a state of uninhibited mind, an unprejudiced heart. Conentment is a state of thanksgiving to god for having blest our life so far. Simplicity doesn't mean that we should not incorporate modernity but that, modernity should not go beyond our means and just to show off ourselves. There is an element of contentment within the concept of simplicity. This is the truth.

It is a well known fact that ours is a spiritual world while the other one is a material world by nature...fault is with the fate of time that man's exploration is spoiling everything...great write

You certainly laid it out as plain as day. This is the kind of direct writing that I admire. The truth of this piece is so large that it dwarfs most other writings on any subject. Again, this is just a brilliant writing. It should be read everywhere. GW62
