Moving and motivating. You are ready to rumble my friend.
Well penned. I enjoyed reading this piece. So many of us can relate to this. As children we hardly do see that our loved ones have looked over us and tried to encourage us (sometimes in the wrong way) to better ourselves and think of our futures, and so many of us rebel and have to learn our lessons the hard way. Sometimes that is the only way any of us learn valuable lessons in life and it is a new lesson for us as we grow older and have families of our own to realize that and let our younger loved ones fall on their face a few times. Well penned.
I love your poem and it speaks of independence!
