A Festive Scene Poem by DM W

A Festive Scene

Rating: 5.0

Winter's pure white blanket covers trees and hills.
Snowflakes keep falling over pub, school and church.
Warm fires glow in brightly lit homes. All is still.
Fine robin redbreasts on frosted branches perch.
That happy Christmas feeling flows deep within
Our hearts and souls. O poets and artists weave
Wondrous worlds of magic! Love, faith and hope begin
To emerge again, as life leans on its dreams.

Reading a quality Christmas poem on this site, is what when seeking and taking the time to read a bit of festive magic, is what Christmas poetry is all about. Your poem in places my friend was like falling into a displayed Christmas card. And choosing to stay there to enjoy more. Full marks and enjoy this forthcoming Christmas and festivities. Thanks Dominic and take care.
