I chose this poem for the title and you have captured the essence of a farmer's love for the land and the beauty of bygone days. Farmers are battling to survive in Australia now, but my husband is a country boy and remembers it all. He says you can take the boy out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the boy. Oh! How I missed all these beautiful poems so far? Magnificient poems, heart warming really. Jayahoo Farmers of the world! ! ! I wish to know more about US farmers; you may send me a message. Here our farmers are losing their lands to help industrialization. I wrote poems like MOTHER'S PLAINT and THAT RAINY DAY. All fertile tracts are converted into factories emitting foul smokes and smells. I wonder what is happening to our Country.
