Great stuff. I'm a wake up to this sort of thing although tired of some of those contradictory disposable platitudes. Well done.

Excellent wit and philosophy combined in this write, Chuck! This reminds me of Mark Twain. I also enjoyed the oxymoron in the title. Superb! Have a great Christmas! Beth

Found you today for the first time after your response to my 'Idiom' I see by the way you play with words you are serious about your work. Thanks for the response. I hope you enjoy any/all of my 'rest'.

All good things come to he who waits, but he who hesitates is lost, and patience is a virtue, yet slow and steady wins the race. Okay, now I am really confused! And consider these: a) A stitch in time saves nine, so does that mean nine stitches well in advance of being needed will save time? b) An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, but a cured ounce prevents all manner of ills, or at least makes it seem so. And no, in case you're wondering, I'm not on anything, Chuck; just having one of those days, and it's all because of you.; -) Cheers, Greg

Charles, But, If you CHOOSE to lose your snooze, does that somehow keep your sleep for you, OR does that make some things untrue, like some would say true falsies do? I know that it's uncouth, but I had to ask! B.V.A.

But, even in sleep, one loses -for if one reaches ninety and sleeps the recommended 8 hours per day, he/she has slept away 30 years, which time can be considered either wasted on dreamless nights to replenish the body for wasted days couch-sitting watching inane telly shows or any of the non-productive hours are spent searching for something productive to do - or, their could be those wonderfully enjoyable dreams. Too bad we cannot program minds to dream at will as we do with DVD's.

Hear, hear! ! ! So, I'm not the only one (re: Po Hound's comments) ! This looks/sounds so easy, but it's brilliant in its very simplicity... and cleverness. I may have to paste a copy on my mirror! Way to go, Chuck! Est : ]
