Mother Nature, romance, youth, life and wisdom all rolled up into one succinct poem. That's the fine art of poetry at its best!
A moving poem so poignant. Ella Wheeler Wilcox......brilliant
Sooner or later I'm always drawn back to this more than fine poem. A simple poem that resonates and calls to me. One of those rarities in poetry that eternally shines and oh so brightly. Thank you dear Ella and sleep well. Sleep well. For you are and always will be, my greatest friend in time.

An awesome write and that too rich in rhyme, rhythm and philosophy about life.

A poem of profound meaning. Youth and love enjoy, perhaps without knowing the distant fate, which in spite of it's inherent sadness, may carry a petty thing to feel happy about too. Great write. Congrats for being the PoD.X
And is Wilcox talking of leaves or romantic relationships? This the richness of this little well-crafted poem. -GK
