A Fakir's Reflection Poem by Sumita Jetley

A Fakir's Reflection

Rating: 5.0

Under the banyan, wise and old,
Sat Hamza, serene and bold.
In his heart, a question lay,
How much do I need, in truth's array?

Once a seeker of worldly gain,
Now he smiles, free from that chain.
Nature's whispers, life's sweet song,
In simplicity, where he belongs.

The sun's embrace, a child's laugh,
Life's symphony, his guiding staff.
In gratitude's warmth, he found his part,
The answer lay within his heart.

Need is little, yet love is vast,
In joyful moments, truly amassed.
Hamza's tale, a beacon bright,
In less, he found his truest light.
