A faceless portrait, you say But, you sketched with skill Each one of our faces For beneath the skin It is only emotions which dwell And that you laid dissected Bare, lone and sad By the shores of Time. Yes, we all have been subject Of your theme sometime in life With sadness drapping us heavy Like thick velvet grey smog Strange, profound and unexplainable! Such beauty! Such pain! Only you can sing such a song To read them gives me much joy! Angel
