One of my favourite poems is Seamus Heaney's, Blackberry picking and I liked this one by you too.
''... / between two sides; /... / the path weathered and slow. '' I like the 'breath' of your lines.. such a short poem has a deep intensity and a great imagery.. Thanks for sharing, Leslie.

Beautifully crafted piece, so atmospheric and alluring. My Brother did a little dry stone walling, reminds me of him so much. Seamus is a favourite of mine and this is a wonderful tribute.
