EXCELLENT! ! what an amazing piece of work...i love how you reference 'Afrikaaner', as not european inhabitants, but instead the beautiful beasts that are being slain by the fake 'afrikaaners''s.....great job 10/10

very fine piece of written poetry. loved it. How would man like it, if they put him on an island. with no gun, and had animals hunt him down for the kill, let man know what it is like. or better yet, have man hunt man down for the kill. In the old days man had to hunt for his meat, but not today. The ivory tusk that they get from those Elephants is very cruel indedd, i wish something could be done. you wrote a very good one here Ernestine, something had to be said, good one.

Evokes clearly the cruelty man resorts to so easily, and the tragedy of its cost to nature and to man. Excellent poem.

Your poem encapsulates the savage beauty of such a harsh environment. The unnecessary slaughter of animals for the tourist trade is unforgivable. Love this line in particular: 'Roasting land of the blood red stain' Justine.

The peoples of such plains have a circle of life that needs to be kept intact, too many abuse this ballance and maybe at natures peril, we must try and learn from this Thankyou for sharing this great poem Love duncan X

This is a fine poem Ernestine. With an easy rhythm and a spectacular panorama of pictures, both noble and terrible. I particularly like the words 'roasting land of the blood red stain.' love, Allie xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
